About ClimaCare Tanzania

ClimaCare Tanzania is a youth-driven, non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people to drive climate action and build resilient communities across the country.

We exist to amplify youth voices, promote green innovation, and foster inclusive solutions to the climate crisis. Communities in Tanzania face increasing climate challenges—ranging from unpredictable rainfall and prolonged droughts to coastal erosion and land degradation.

Climate Change Awareness & Action

This thematic area centers on enhancing public understanding of climate science, localized climate impacts and the importance of both mitigation and adaptation strategies. Through education campaigns, advocacy and participatory dialogue, we equip communities with the knowledge needed to make informed decisions and actively engage in climate solutions. By fostering climate literacy, we lay the groundwork for collective climate action across sectors and regions.

Environmental Education

Environmental Education forms a foundational pillar of our strategy, aimed at building lifelong environmental consciousness across generations. Through schoolbased programs, community workshops, and public campaigns, we promote sustainable lifestyles, conservation ethics, and behavior change.
