Building directly on the successes and lessons learned from the Empowering youth in climate resilience project, this phase marked a significant expansion, scaled to two districts, and was implemented by BDS Enterprise currently known as ClimaCare Tanzania from November 2024 to May 2025. The activities evolved to include training workshops, village outreach, peer-education events, Climathons, community innovation challenges, and mentorship on green solutions. This cohort also facilitated the formation of 6 youth environmental clubs (5 school-based, 1 communityled). The impact of this cohort was substantial, directly engaging 1393 youth (715 female, 678 male). Over 5,000 community members were reached indirectly through public forums, family tree-planting days, and radio talks. Youth teams planted 2,010 trees (1733 survived), surpassing the target of 700 trees, and organized 6 community clean-up campaigns mobilizing over 1,00 volunteers. Additionally, 20 Youth Climate Ambassadors were trained, and five schools collectively restored approximately 10 hectares of degraded land.
